Applicants will be contacted by the summer coordinator to set up a placement interview. The youth should bring any relevant experience to the interview and be prepared to discuss availability and expectations. If you are chosen, the coordinator will then determine which camp would be best suited for you.
Applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of 35 consecutive hours of program (one full week of camp in July or August) and attend the LIT training (July 3 and 4) to be placed with our fantastic summer staff in some of the coolest and most fun summer programs around.
Upon completing the time requirement, you will receive a letter of completion as well as a certificate. All LITs will be given feedback to help promote their leadership growth.
Apply today to be a part of this amazing summer camp experience!
Note:
Our program is committed to inclusivity and strives to accommodate diverse needs. However, it's important to note that our youth leaders may not have received specialized training for some needs. If your child needs specific accommodations, please reach out to Peggy Zallas, FCSS Child & Youth Programmer at fcss@morinville.ca to discuss.
